Two bids, up to 1500.00 and still not hit the reserve. Can't be more than 50.00 in scrap metal there, maybe someone with too much money needs a tax write off this.

I have rebuilt bikes that were in worse shape. That could be a nice one when done correctly. It looks like most of the major parts are there. The transmission is worth more than the high bid.

This is the same type of thing someone who knows nothing about cars would say if they saw you hauling home a rusted out/trashed but complete SS396 car. :waving:

Good Grief, it's up to $4,500 ???? I don't see it worth any more than $45.00 and only to weld it all together as an abstract piece of yard art !!!!

There's big money in old iron. I worked with George Haas, a chief engineer who ran a vintage motorcycle business on the side. He has a large collection of Indians and Indian memorabilia. It's amazing how much old parts are worth to those who don't have them.

Oh, I ain't sayin' it can't be fixed........ I just don't think they needed to clarify that it needed a "complete restoration" ya know (lol)

and if i had the money......................................... well, lets just say i'd be off on another adventure in pissin' the wife off :D
