I am inquiring on Hood Hinges, for my Son’s 64 Elkey, will a 63 Impala Hood Hinges operate on a 64 El Camino’s Hood to front clip??

Nope, not even close. ANY 64-65 Chevelle or ElCamino. I suspect that even ANY "A" body 64-65 like Buick Skylark or Pontiac Tempast. Most all "hard parts" like latches and window regulators enterchange between ALL "A" bodies.

My interchange manual doesn't mention 64 hood hinges. Maybe they are unique to that specific year. 65-67 are the same. Heres what will fit those. Good luck http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

Old chevy parts shows 64 chevelle used same part number as 63-65 ChevyII only.

I don't have the manual, but a Hollander interchange manual is golden on this sort of thing.

1964 Chevelle/El Camino hood hinges will interchange with the following:
1963/64 Impala and other full size Chevrolets
1963-65 Chevy II

Could the PO(Previous Owner), have changed out the Hinges w/Springs, for one on a 65-67 A-Body?????????????

the '63-'64, do not look correct...

Will the '65-'67 bolt up to the Hood and Front-Clip????????

I think I will take my chance with the:
67-69 Camaro 66-67 Chvey II
1965-67 Chevelle Hood Hinges
They look the same as his(64 El Camino..

I am hoping someone will agree..
