This may be a dumb question, but I just got a 68 396 air conditioned Chevelle which has headers and I wondered if there are any tricks to getting to the passenger side front and rear spark plugs to change them???
If anyone has any special tricks they'd be much appreciated.
Thank You!

A lot of swearing, and bloody knuckles will be involved.
My advice- Start drinking heavily. :D
ok.. real advice. Just have a variety of tools handy- your normal spark plug wrench may not cut it, may have to use a open/box end wrench to turn it out.

That's what I figured....I may have to go on a shopping trip and pick up some tools....Christmas might be early if I get near the tool store this time of the year... better not tell the wife.
Thanks for the advice although I am not sure the knuckles thing was the answer I wanted

If you have a local Sears, grab their Craftsman spark plug socket #43322, it's a spark plug socket with a built-in swivel, makes changing plugs, especially those passenger side rears easy as pie.

That sounds good....I'll go pick that up tomorrow. My standard socket and wrench aren't getting in there, especially with the ac compressor 2 inches from the front passenger plug.
