Bought a Proform pushrod lenght checker, checked with stock lenght chevy sb pushrods. According to the tool the are to short, used a adjustable checker and my result was that I need pushrods that are 7.874 long, will I hurt much if I use the stock lenght I already have?. Shall I buy a set of 0.100 longer pushrods or check one more time with the rocker arm mounted and turn the engine over to see were the tip meets the valve? Can I use the springs that are mounted (new camshaft) or shall I mount Moroso light weight springs? If I need new ones that are longer will this Summit rods work, the price seems very good.

Yep, upside down.
My opinion,, take that plastic POS & put it in the garbage.
Buy an adjustable pushrod to check pushrod length.
I have never figured out exactly what those things were designed for, possibly stock rockers??
With most aftermarket rockers they are not correct.
