Well I decided to have the trans brake solenoid changed because of the late release problem I had a couple of weeks ago. But as soon as I dropped the car off a new problem surfaced. The trans builder pushed the button on the wheel and asked why he had no power to the brake. I had never seen this problem before, but it turned out we got it to repeat several times. Sometimes it worked, sometimes nothing. But I said that would be an early release I didn't have that problem. So the next day he played with the button again and had lights and meters hooked up to it. He said on several attempts after releasing the button the light would give a quick flash. This would be enough to keep the brake energized until the second flash was done, causing a late release. So hopefully all of my problems are button related. Over the winter I will be replacing it hoping for no problems next spring.
