Will a shifter for a 67 powerglide work on a 67 th 400? What do you need to convert if they fit?

There is a company called Shiftworks that sells the conversion kit.

So do I presume with this kit, I can make the shifter from a powerglide work on a th 400?

Just as a matter of curiosity is your shifter a column shift or a floor shift?

Currently, the car is a column shift, but I am converting it to a floor shift with a console.

The Shifter for a powerglide will work, the linkage is very close to the pan and may rub, BE CAREFUL.....on the conversion kit. Be sure you get the "complete" package.....remember these guys are order takers....they AIN'T necessarily "car guys"......they are ORDER TAKERS.

Don't buy from Danchuk....they don't know nuttin'!!! go to the guys suggested earlier or Original Parts, and National Parts Depot is decent too.
