Does anyone know what steering columns fit a 1965 chevelle. I bought a restored but it doesn't have a steering column in it at all. I'm having a hard time finding the exact year (65) but was told other years or cars may fit. Thanks!

64-66 will fit, Chevelles and other A-bodies (Olds Cutlass, Pontiac GTO/LeMans/Tempest, Buick Skylark)... For an SS model, you probably want a floor shift, but a column shift will fit the same (and are usually alot cheaper, IF you need a temp solution)... '66 are a little different in the upper column area...
Pretty sure all 64/65 will be the same...
'67 went to a larger diameter column (collapsible), so those won't fit...
BTW, WHERE in California? Its a big state...
