Hello,

I searched the site, but did not find the answer.

What is the best way to wire up a stock AMP gauge in a 1970 SS that did not come with the gauge package?

Many thanks, Joe.

1 wire goes to the battery junction block connector and the other goes to the horn relay hot terminal. use 16 gauge wire but incorporate a 20 amp fusible link wire in each of these to prevent the possibility of a fire in case of short.

Hey Dave,

Are you talking about an ammeter? I wired one for my Cutlass and had to use large gauge wire and the wire still got hot. Please comment! Thanks
