:hurray: I have a 67 malibu with 69 327 block with stock pump and steering box. The steering box is leaking at the pitman arm. Have checked around and rebuilding doesnt seem to be the thing to do UNLESS you do it for a living. What year quick ratio box and pump will mount up without ANY mods? There may not be any that fits this application.. If someone has done this what do I need to look for. Will I have to change pulleys, hoses, steering rag joint. I can order a direct replacement for about 125.00 from auto parts store. This may be the best solution..OR can anyone make it easy on me and point me in the right direction at the parts yard. Of course, I want an easy solution and dont wont to chase parts from multiple cars. Any help would be appreciated...thanks

I don`t know where are located but NAPA or Advance Auto have quick ratio replacements that are resonable. 3 turns lock to lock but you must ask for the quick ratio.

You can also check in the "Suspension" forum. Do a search there, you'll find lots of info & some links to tech articles.

A box from a later model Buick GS has the quick ratio, the only problem is, you may want to use it's pump and hoses too, because the fittings are different.
