I'm having my car repainted. It is supposed to be Black Cherry (78) with white stripes.
The body shop is telling me that they are having a hard time finding the right color. Does anyone know what color the white is for the stripes? Chevrolet had 2 whites that year and I believe it's the brighter classic white. Also I'm not sure what they are looking for for a paint code for Black Cherry??

Classic white (paint code 10) in 1970 and classic white (10) or antique white (paint code 11) are the colors I recall used in 1971. They are seesntially the same. I do not recall the actual paint numbers used by the paint manufacturers, although an automotive paint supply shop can cross reference the codes above to several manufacturers.

Code 10 Classic White is the correct color. There is a difference in the two, code 11 being an off-white color compared to code 10.
