hello guys, I've been trying to find information on this can shaft, part number 3994094, and its seems all pretty vague, the specs I can find on it seems to put it larger than an l-88 ( 600 lift 286 duration at .050?). I think I read a post on here as well, with someone trying to locate one, and I might be able to help, or who ever else wants one. I was looking at buying it, but I think someone as new to this game as me has no need for something like that. There is one on ebay now, still in the original GM cam tube! This cam is too big. It has next to no bottom end or mid range making it a complete dog for any usable RPM range. The L-88 and ZL-1 cams run much better in most applications.

Yeah after much previous pros and cons, I've decided on the Ls6/L-78 cam, well one that is made to the specs. Couldn't beat the price either, but I just thought I'd mention that big one, incase someone was looking for it.

May be OK in a high rpm 540" or a bigger 565" motor tho..

Can't beat that price or who made it, imho...

pdq67 It sure didn't work in a 454 that a friend of mine tried it in.
