: new to team chevelle
drbuff Oct 31st, 06, 8:28 PM Just signed up today. Would bet that I'm one of few here. I'm a FEMALE and won't even say how old I am. I am on the hunt for a 1969 Chevelle and would love to know everything there is know about Chevelles- I don't know a lot about engines but plan to learn. I'm an operating room nurse and plan to become a Chevelle fanatic. So...HELP... Dee B.

Johnny O Oct 31st, 06, 9:14 PM Welcome Dee. If you're here, you're already a Chevelle fanatic. This will be a great place to unwind after a hard day of probing around in someone's body cavity. Time to find out what the inside of an ENGINE looks like:p ;) Enjoy your stay! John

1badss396 Oct 31st, 06, 11:24 PM Dee are you looking for a car to restore or one that needs nothing done to it?
What kind of budget in mind, kinda helps to locate a good car. You also might want to fill in your location in user profile so people can help you find parts, cars, ect close to were your located.

drbuff Nov 2nd, 06, 1:58 AM I live in Brunswick, GA- just north of Jax, Fl, right on the coast. I'm looking for a 1969, maybe a '70. I don't really want to do a complete restoration but wouldn't mind finding one that needing some work. Of course, would love to find one completely restored for the right price. I'm still looking at prices and trying to decide on price range. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanx...
Andy69 Nov 2nd, 06, 2:12 PM Hi Dee wecome aboard. Don't waste your time with a 70, the 69s are waaaaaay better :) Stick with 1badss396 if there's a car in the weeds somewhere he'll find it.
rubadub Nov 2nd, 06, 10:31 PM 1969's are also my favorite, wellcome Dee B.

drbuff Nov 2nd, 06, 10:43 PM All of ya'll have made me feel so good about loving and wanting a wanting a Chevelle. And I do want a 69- the search is on!!! Thanks, I may be looking for help!! Dee B.
69ssmike Nov 2nd, 06, 10:56 PM My advise is to buy as much as you can afford, let someone else do the work. Check the expensive stuff, motor, tranny, 1/4 panels and floors, everything else is fairly easy to replace. Good Luck:D
