I was under the impression it was OK, but now after talking to some locals it may not be good for the motor. Even so, I can't imagine it being a problem unless you have water with a high mineral content. And that would be bad for any part of a cooling system. I have been running straight water for 6 months! zx7joker Nov 4th, 06, 1:39 PM As Long as you used an additive like "Water Wetter"(or any of the other brands) no damage should of happened...straight water will kill the water pump too, since water is a horrible lubricant.
