Who makes the best, or should I just piece it in? I've heard that their not the greatest, does somebody make one that acually has the slots for the bolts at the bottom?

Sometimes after spending the dough on the patches and finding a good welder and paying him or the shop, it can add up to almost the cost of new panels. Plus if you sell the old ones as-is.... someone would be interested in them.... I just ended up getting new panels from NPD, im VERY happy with them, I think they have full patches too.....

I used patches for the bottoms of my 68 Olds Cutlass convertible fenders..no slots, used a metal nibbler to make them..had a friend weld them up..we used the wheel well trim as a guide..they came out mint.

i have the front fender patches i think from goodmark. but not sure.. they have the notches on the bottom but they are wider then the originals so they will require some reworking.. i cant wait for the weather to improve so i can finally work on the car and put these in!!!!! im going crazy here!!!

Met I just found the one that I ordered from GOODMARK. I got it in and my body guy didn't like the look of it too much (or my whole fender once i removed it, which is why i bought a whole new one......lol). I forgot to look whether it was for right or left side, but if you wanna try it I'll send it to ya. It's never been touched and I got no use for it now.
