I recently saw a chevelle. its a 2 door 1970. Its in primer, no rust. The fenders and hood would need to be replaced. After market steering wheel and rims, interior needs a little done to it. And it has new ac, also it runs and is drivable but he it's not theoriginal 350. what do you guys think?

Alot of people primer cars in order to cover up rust/repairs. Thay usually do not spend the time to fix rusted areas the right way (cut out all damaged areas and properly weld in patches/new panels). They simply use bondo/fiberglass/other interesting items to make the car appear as if it is a solid car. Just be carefull and check the body panels out very well. Check the rockers, rear wheel wells, inner wheel wheels, trunk, window channels for evidence of rust or previous repairs. Also the lower part of doors and fenders tend to be trouble areas. With that said, the car could very well be rust free and solid, you just need to spend some time looking the car over. Just because it looks good at first glance doesn't always mean it is good. This is not to discourage just to educate because once you start to tear apart a car you ALWAYS find more problems than you expected.
As for price I'd have to say 5-7K if its complete and rust free. 3-5k it it has minimal rust issues, and 1-2k if it has major rust issues.
