do i need to replace the whole quarter panel? or is there a weatherstrip channel to attach to the existing quarter. i know someone has delt with this topic b 4 thanks

I believe that's a separate piece.Don't know if it's repo'd or not.Might depend on what year.
Find a donor car and cut out,maybe.

Not sure of the different years, but I am working on the rear of my '70 and it appears to me that the channel is made up of 4 seperate panels. The top edge is supplied by the filler deck, the bottom is supplied by the tail panel, and both sides are part of the qtr panels.

I got this one guys, I just replaced my whole set. Goodmark is in the process of producing a 68-72 chevelle trunk gutter set and they have been since last spring! I got tired of waiting so I contacted Sundell Automotive in Slippery Rock, Pa (they also have yards in N.C.!) They cut and shipped me a perfect trunk gutter set for $100! I was very pleased. They are now welded in and the difference is huge. Their contact info is on Goodmark's website under authorized dealers.
