i ASK A QUESTION ON THIS WEB SITE: I had a couple of answers. One from Greg in Washington state. I read his e mail. And thanked him Seeing he was from washington state. I asked Greg since he live in washington. Does he know of and ( name) old friend of mine. we were in the navy together. 62 to 64. In oakland, Calif. But My friend was from Seattle. he said he doesn't know him told him thanks. It was a shot in the dark. told him if he ever gets a min. could he look in the white page for him. No big deal. I've been looking for years & years. well Greg e mails me back with a name and phone number. It doesn't look right wrong middle name. But what the hey. I give it try. no ones answers. so I leave a message. That myname is rick I thought maybe we were in the navy together. If not sorry to bother you. well this morning. I get a phone call. I said hello. Guy on the other end says Hi Rick. I said yeah. He said you found me. I almost fell off my chair. we talked for 3 hrs. my god what are the chances of this happening. One Chevelle owner helping another one. My whole hearted thanks goes out to Greg in washington, state. so You new guys that don't want to put down too much info. See what can happen. I've been looking For my friend for over 20 yrs. But he did move around alot. so again t h a n k s GREG:beers: :beers: :beers: :beers: :beers: :beers: :D

Awesome story......This is just one of the things that I like most about this site, one member doing for another.
I have neighbors that would not do that much for me, so knowing there are members on this site that do things for others is simply fantastic!

and too top this story off. I can't beleive this luck i'm having. sunday night. the phone rings. I answer it. the guy on the other end says hey. ya got a light?? I said what. he repeats it. I said hey pal I think ya got the wrong #. He said no I don't. I called the right number. Its not my fault you don't know who this. Ok I give up who is this. I turns out we used to work together 15 yrs ago. we both quit smoking. But he went on 2nd shift I went on midnight. and we lost track of ea other. But he saw my name in an old phone book he was going to throw out. an decided to call. we talked for over an hr. we have ea other e mails address's and phone #'s. so two old buddy in two days. I don't know what this means. but i'm thinking about playing the lotto
