Looks over priced to me. 81s had the first computer controlled junky quadrajets. Is it a 305 or 350 car? Doesn't really matter as both were underpowered. The 80-81 Zs are not popular enough to buy a fixer upper for over $5k IMO. By the time you put the resto money in them you can buy a nice one. I have seen sweet looking ones for $8-9k DONE. They usually are for sale for a loonng time. The only ones going up in big value are the 20k mile or less ones and even those usually sell for under $20k.
But hey it's your money and if you really like the car and YOU don't think it is over-priced, buy it and enjoy it. That's what it is all about anyway. I have seen some folks pay more for less of a car. :)

its the 350 model..i hear/read Canadian cars didnt have that computer controlled stuff??and i agree with what u,ve said..
