My wife has a 68 and we are going to put fiberglass fenders on it. Are they ok to use for a daily driver? We already bought them for it when I heard someone say that they may crack easily for street duty. Does anyone have these on their ride for the street? Any problems/solutions?Thanks in advance!

Fiberglass body parts are made to lighten up a car for racing. Not really meant for street use. Other than a hood anyway/ If you take a hard head on collision in that thing it's curtains b/c all you have is the frame to take the impact. I'd go for some steel fenders. IMO

When properly installed and braced they will work fine. Use the stock inner fender wells to retain strength and keep rocks from slinging up and spider webbing the paint.
