Believe it or not, it's really not that difficult.. I transfer the image to the pumpkin with a pattern, then I cut them with a small saw.. The tough part is where you have thin lines, you really have to watch the angle that you hold the saw..
I used to to relatively simple carvings, & have worked up to the more detailed ones.. It's loads of fun too.. Heck, my kids did the ones on the ends (skull & face) and they're only 9 & 12 years old.. So give it a try :thumbsup:
