1983 Les Paul Studio (1st year of Studio). Black with white pick guard, hard shell case, and tuner. Stock Gibson humbuckers replaced with Ultrasonic pickups. Very good condition - has seen little use in the last 15 years.

I'm thinking somewhere around $700. Sound about right?

I hope I'm not too late, don't do it man, a studio ? no, pay the extra for a standard, you won't regret it !

Why stop at a Standard, go for a Custom and you're set...

Actually, I already have the Studio. I'm thinking about selling it :)

I bought it years ago in 1988 when I started actually playing for money.

I don't play for money anymore. Haven't in years. If I did again I would probably lay out the cash for a Strat or a Custom, and a Twin or a Mesa Boogie.

But $700 sitting in the closet would be better as $700 bolted into the interior of my Chevelle :)
