Has anyone bought a fiberglass or such bumper (not metal), painted it a color and actually made it look good? What would be the best bumper to get? I heard the fiberglass bumpers will not look good in any color, and that tin bumpers are better. Thanks for any info!

Well, it all depends on what you're looking for I guess. If you want a painted fiberglass bumper, you could try: www.up22.com (http://www.up22.com) I've noticed on fiberglass pieces that the LOOK fiberglass, I've seen lots of fiberglass pieces look steel though. I guess it's all in preparation, if you get a good building primer and block sand really well, you can make it look great. On the website, there are a couple pics of Chevelles with painted bumpers. I hope that answered anything for you, or at least steered you where you want to go.
