The cold weather/winter find a cold weather hobby, I have been ridding a motorcycle all winter with the NJ polar bear club every Sunday for many years I love it. I ride about 6,000 miles each winter. Those guys do about $.90/mile don't they? driver Oct 26th, 06, 9:33 PM Yes,they do about 90 a mile.I relocate families for around $4-5 a mile.Big difference in a mover vs a reg truck driver.They do about a $100,000 vs a mover 0/0 $200.00 a year.At least thats what I did last year but I'm down $30,00 this year. What I meant was that I thought there was a shortage of drivers especially owner operators, so I thought you would be driving constantly. Hope work picks up for you though. If you are bored, go out in the garage and play with the Nova. That looks fun. driver Oct 27th, 06, 8:58 AM Frieght drivers are in big demand but for me summer is our time of the year when most are being relocted to other parts of the country.The winter months gets really slow,like one trip a month.I have been off two weeks already and their talking another two weeks before my next load.WOW,I should be good and rested by then?
