Welcome Vic!!
I've always heard that an intake change & headers are usually a good improvement, esp. the headers. Most of the ones I've seen are the 4 into 1 type.

I like 454 Monte Carlos, what year is it and do you have photos?
4 into 1 are the most popular and have the most engineering for big blocks.
Aluminum intake will save a few pounds and add a few horsepower.
It sounds like you have a fast car now. What time are you trying to achieve in the quarter mile?
