Decided to go with the Magnaflows & 3" all the way back. We put some DMH electric dumps on it just to have a little fun.......Got to move the fuel pump over a little though.

Wow that looks nice. Did you paint it after the install? What kind of paint? How does it sound? Is it 304 stainless? Was stainless wire used in the welding? Why the collector flanges after the mufflers? enough questions? haha

I've heard the X-pipe makes it sound like the engine is twisting higher than it actually is, that's definately an x.

Wow that is a beuatifull set up. You need to get a nice sound clip of this and post it. with open and through mufflers idling and a drive by. very very nice.

The system was welded on the ground after fitting. It is a mandrel ( spelling ? ) system with very few bends. Pressure tested for leaks. Stainless wire. Paint is some type of additional protection he puts on it & I don't know if it's 304 or 316. Probably not 316. I put a collector after the mufflers so when the tranny needs work I can get the exhaust completely out of the way.

If you don't mind me asking, What did that set you back?
It definitely don't look cheap.
It does, however, make my full length 3" exhaust look cheap, and it approached 5 bills.

What made you want to install the cut outs?

Between the 3" pipes, x pipe, and Magnaflows (which are essentially starightpipes) your system already flows like open pipes.

Just wondering what they would sound like & for general screwing around. Closed they are diff loud but open they are ear drum crushing.:p

Well it was more than expected. From the collectors all the way back was $ 1600 total ( Magnaflow stainless 3.0" kit, Pipes oval stainless tips, DMH electric cutouts & Labor ) There are no bends in this exhaust. All fab'd tubing at a perfect ID of 3.0". By far the most expensive exhaust I have ever put on ANY vehicle I have ever owned. The sound is great. It's still loud at idle & when you put your foot in it - you know it's :beers: time. I'll get some sound up when I can. Oh - The entire system is warrantied for life!
