One of the reasons I come to this site day after day is because reading about how someone got a quarter welded on or the chevelle painted brings back inspiration and ethusiam that I lost. So I thought I would share a few pics of my lastest project. I hope you enjoy looking as much I did bringing it back. By the time you read this I should be putting the finishing touches on her for CB03 Thanks Guys graemlins/thumbsup.gif ...Eric

What I started with. Bought it out of Copart Auto Auction in Kansas City. Sight un seen

Very nice!!

My color on my monitor may be off; is that off-white or tan?

What is that dash out of? I'm assuming I'm looking at the interior of your Chevelle; I'm digging the modern upgrade......want to do it myself.

Was there a lot of rework to get it to fit?

Crankshaft, funny how you say modern dash look. I bought a parts car to fix this one,so I test fitted the parts car's dash(2000 chrysler concorde) in my chevelle. Am a big fan of something different, hence BUICK powered chevelle. Surpising the thing fit pretty close, need to do some trimming up by the windshield to bring it closer in. But width wise it fit pretty close. Those dashes in the 98-02 concorde are pretty cocky looking, even sweeter are the 300M-LHS dashes. I can get my hands on a complete 300M interior pretty cheap. The bucket seats are pretty cool looking too and very comfy. Ive been thinking about making a 300M dash swap for about a month or two now. I dont think it would take much as the dash is pretty bare underneath and if I do have to cut and section the dash I know a guy that repairs dashes and says he can rebuild the vinyl and the grain so you never know its been whacked up graemlins/hurray.gif

Hey Eric....nice job....I just boutght a 2000 Concorde LXi for the daily driver.....nice car. Anyways....what do you have for ventilation in your spray booth/garage....good lighting, but where's the blower/sucker???

could you post some pics of the outer walls for an idea of your layout....I am a real garage fanatic. I have 650 square feet including a home office....

Chief, my shop is roughly 42x70x16. My shop shop is around 42x33

My booth is just on the other side of the wall from pic1. The booth is like 30x24x10. No need for 16ft side walls for a booth. I open the outside 2nd door then I have to open the booth door

Its kinda like a garage inside a garage.

When the booth is not in use(most of time)I keep the 455 car in there and dads john deere tractor. Each side wall has 14 lights with 3 on the ceiling. My blower or sucker is in front of the booth seen in pic

right below that piece of wood on the wall going vertically is the blower. It runs by a 7hp 240v motor, the blade is about 2ft wide with 6 blades. Moves air pretty good. Outside I have a exhaust stack that the fumes go through its 22 feet tall. Iowa DNR rules. I dont have pics of the blower on me but can get some tomm
