Has anyone used these brakes and have first hand experience regarding installation and operation? Still trying to decide on how to resolve my brake status. Obviously I won't keep the manual system, still thinking strongly about the front disk conversion, or maybe I should just add the power booster with new master and using these instead. I already have the finned drums. These any good? I don't drive the SS that much, just a local cruise or weekend type thing.

I haven't, but I will definitely be using them in the near future.
They state that with the stage 3 kit, it would improve the braking up to 38%..and that's without a booster.
I don't like a cluttered look to the engine bay (brake booster) and this will allow me to stay close to original..though the clean look to the engine bay is the prevailing component for me.

I installed the stage 3 kit on my 66 last year, car stops MUCH better than w/ the old stock brakes. Kit is a little pricy but I think it was definately worth it.

I'm thinking of adding the power brake booster with a new master cylinder, then using their brake in box kit for the new shoes, springs etc. versus the entire stage III or similar kit. I already have good finned drums, just want better stopping at a reasonable price.
