: body color, I would like your opinion.
67Sedan2dr Apr 25th, 01, 1:19 PM Hello all,
Soon I will be taking my Chevelle to the paint and body shop. Once the body work is done, I have to decide if I want to keep the original color or not. This will be just a nice every day driver. Right now the car is Grenada Gold. What do you all think of the color when it is frsh and polished. It is hard to tell on my car as the paint is very faded. Do any of you sport the GG color. I know it is hard and more coslty to change the color, but what do you think?

67SSBOSTON Apr 26th, 01, 10:30 AM I have seen some sweet looking chevelles with the GG code. I think it looks better with the black vinyl top. Good contrast...

Jimmy P Apr 26th, 01, 10:57 AM Floyd Garrett has a gold 67 post car with torque thrust D's and a 502 under the hood in his museum. That car is sweet! Grandma - sleeper looking kind of car!

RickS Apr 26th, 01, 11:03 AM Mine was GG originally and when I first saw the color (under the red it had been painted), I really didn't like it. A few months ago, I saw one driving by and it looked pretty nice though.

corsair Apr 26th, 01, 2:13 PM I've got a '66 which is white w/red interior. As much as I like it, I think the best color combo for this particular year is canary yellow w/ black interior or blk / blk. The others are nice but those two I really favor. Just my opinion.
67Sedan2dr Apr 26th, 01, 8:52 PM Well since I live in FL, I definately won't go black. I'm glad to here that some of you like the combo. I think I'll stick with the GG. Thanks for the opinions.

Daytona Jeff Apr 27th, 01, 5:12 AM Nathan, since you are asking for opinions I'll throw one in the hat. My personal favorite for a 67 would be the Turquoise color for that year, with a black vinyl top and a set of polished Torque Thrust. Tough Combination.
