i have got some weatherstrip adhesive on my paint,been there for a while,(been afraid to try removing)anybody have a sugestion that will not destroy my paint? on second thought its that yellow headliner glue. sorry. thanks. r.j.

Randy, 3M and other companies make products called "weatherstrip adhesive remover". I got a spray can of the remover at a local auto upholstery shop. It removed both weatherstrip adhesive and the yellow contact cement you referred to without affecting the paint. Hope this helps.
