Well I finally got around to picking up some of the Southern Polyurathane Epoxy primer a few weeks ago. I had been using some of the DPLF I had left over to spray the backside of the fenders.

This stuff is truly incredible. For an epoxy primer, it sands unbelievable without almost no clog on the paper. I have never sanded a 2k primer, but if it sand anything near this I'm sold on it.

Sevt_Chevelle had been saying lots of good things about them. Now I know first hand they have some great products.

A+ all the way for support as well, post a question on their forum and you'll get an answer within a few hours.

I'm not going back to PPG every again........at least for epoxy primer.

Been wanting to try thiers too. I've been using HOK KP21 Epoxy. It sands pretty good and is easy to apply (which is why I use it). Wonder how they compare...

SPI epoxy is number 1 in my book as well. The adhesion, flexibility, solvent resistance, sandability, and cost can't be beat. It's a different animal. If you do need to sand it the light gloss acts as a built in guidecoat. It's all good

Anybody used their high build primer? Im thinking of using it and the HS clear on my project camaro but im a little leary how it will hold up to shrinking over the long haul. I was planning on using RM DP 26 primer and DC90 clear, but its pretty pricy

The turbo prime reminds me of the old Dupont Uroprime but a step above. The turbo prime is one of the best primers Ive used...Eric
