Ok, so I have been thinking about installing an automatic floor shifter im looking @ the Hurst V-matic with the rachet option(If anyone can let me know about any reviews for this shifter if its worth the money and time of installation that would be great)but it is set up as a column shift atm. What hardware(Links or a description would help)do I need to change the range selector lever too so it works properly with the floor shifter. Also im not to sure, but I might have lost my Transmission kick down cable in the middle of moving, original parts group has the cable, but im not sure if it comes ready to install or not. Just wondering if it would be the propery length for my Th-350. Thank you in Advance, once again links to where to find the hardware im asking about would be extremly appreciated. Thank you once again.

Do I understand correctly? You desire the Hurst V-Matic but wixh to keep the column linkage in place? I assuming this is to retain the dash selector and perhaps key switch interlock?
These aftermarket shifters typically come with a variety of brackets to install since they are to fit many vehicles. They are intended to replace your linkage not supplement it. The first thing that comes to mind is that the part that goes on the trans selector will accommodate the new cable but leave no place for the original linkage. You can probably fab something with the old and new part used together. The next thought is I'm not certain the cable shifter mechanism can "drag along" all the factory linkage -- it probably can but this is a trial and error deal.
I have no personal experience with the V-Matic but I have B&M Megashifter which is quite similar. That shifter came with a variety of brackets and switches for neutral safety and reverse lights. It was easy to install and adjust. I used a dash face from with no selector indicator that came from a manual trans car.

Well, im not sure if I want a tilt column or not, I was hoping to keep the original one, and take off the shifter lever and leave everything else original. I was just hoping to install the V-matic, swap out the exisiting hardware that it has right now to be used as a column shift, to make it a floor shifter instead of the column shift. But i was looking at Original Parts Group's webpage, and i seen there is Range Selector Levers for column shifts and console set ups. Once again this is a Th-350....Thanks.

That's pretty much what I did. I took the selector lever off the column and the linkage off from under the car. The installed the Megashifter. I made a little extension harness for the neutral safety switch and revers lights that extends from the dash harness under the carpet to the new shifter.
You bolt your new shifter to the floor and then run a cable to the trans. You can position the shifter pretty much wherever you wish.

Ok, well I have the Gm factory cable for the staple shifter, that should be the proper length i believe. Will keeping the original column have any other problems, im guessing no, and what things would I have to make clearance wise if I got a tilt column?

I imagine the V-matic comes with a cable, long enough to fit and then some. I can't think of any other problems with your column. I don't think switching to a tilt will be a big deal either, at least as far as the floor shifter goes.
