MrBill66Malibu Oct 24th, 06, 7:00 PM Nice start !!!!!!!!!!!, give us particulars on what you are going to do with it. Also what part of the country you are in.
lownfast Oct 24th, 06, 7:09 PM im in north texas, the car is an original 350, factory A/C car, with automatic on the floor (smooth collumn) i bought it from a guy that has had it since 1979. it needs a right rear quarter, front right fender, hood, and a trunk pan, other than those issues its a damn good start, i plan to go the pro-touring route, i want lots of power and good handling.
lownfast Oct 24th, 06, 7:10 PM here are some interior picshttp://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m51/lownfastsonoma/10-04-06031.jpg

MrBill66Malibu Oct 24th, 06, 8:07 PM how much is this car worth as it sits??? just curious
I think someone would easily pay $1500 to $2000
Guys and Gals do you agree?
oldtimebaseballfan Oct 25th, 06, 8:34 AM Congratulations on your first Chevelle. Keep us posted on your progress.
Looks like you have a helper already.
Brettd85 Oct 25th, 06, 10:13 PM I agree. Looks like your dog is interested, he looks pretty cool. If you need any help, this is seriously the place to come. I would be so lost without this site. Why the orange paint all over the chassis and wheel wells? Someone must have gone a little crazy.
68bye Oct 26th, 06, 5:00 PM Hell yeah I'll give ya $1500 for it. (I think it's worth more, but I'm not gonna tell you that) Did I say that out loud? Where at in north Texas? I live about 2 1/2 hours from Houston in Louisiana. I wish my 68 was that nice to start with. The problem I had/have is, it looks nice from a distance, but someone troweled on about 2 gallons of bondo and roofing tin then shot it with gloss exterier latex. Or at least, that's what it looks like. That's gonna be a real nice car when it's done. Good luck!
allengator Oct 26th, 06, 5:27 PM You can tell its a north texas car.... 97.1 the EAGLE sticker on the back!
THATS BEEN A WHILE!

lownfast Oct 28th, 06, 6:45 PM well i was digging around today and found the original owners warrany page with the metal plate, is this worth anything? what kind of info can i get from it??
chevguy65 Oct 28th, 06, 7:20 PM If your talking about the protecto plate it has the original owners name and poss ph number, I am no expert on protectoplates but others here are and will give a much better answer than I.

68bye Nov 9th, 06, 12:12 AM DOH!! I sold a beautiful 70 Dodge charger back in the day because I needed the money, You should see what I settled for to replace it 15 years later. I wish you better luck in finding an (A) replacement job, and (B) a replacement Chevelle. All hope is not lost. It all works out in the end. Good luck!
Sam Charles Mar 4th, 07, 11:36 PM You have your work cut out for you, but you will be rewarded in the end, good luck
