Hey all, I just wanted to apologize and thank Mike all at the same time....
Story: I dealt with Mike earlier this year on a combo for a 489/496 buildup I was planning for this coming winter. Great guy - informative, good suggestions, worked around some of the things I wanted done, etc. etc. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
Well, long story short the 496 just isn't going to happen. :( I wrecked my daily driver this summer, :clonk: spent the funds to get it fixed right and just won't have it available to build the engine - so I'm scaling back on my plans for the engine. I will likely just do a good cam swap that will hold my ambition in check for a couple years.
I know Mike probably gets these requests all the time that don't come through - but I just wanted to thank him for all the time and effort he puts into it. When the time comes, I WILL buy from him - his service and patience is exceptional. :beers:
Now, if his wife, who is equally helpful can get his head to squeeze through the door, I think we'll all be happy. Maybe I'll send some ham bones his way for the pups. ;)
