i'm thinking of removing the body of my 67 ss chevelle off the frame,the body will be gutted other than the side glass.

does any one know about what it will weigh? and can four or five guy's could lift it?

and can the body be sat on some kind of seahorse's?

I'd say no less than 600 lbs and no more than 800. I have done it 3 ways. Once with me and 3 other big friends. We lifted and sat it on 4x4s spanned accross stacked block. On another car we picked each end up a little at a time until it was high enought to set on the same 4x4 and blocks method. The last way was the easiest. I did it along. I got an engine hoist and 2 chains that I crossed. I attached each chain to one of the 4 middle most seat belt bolts, hooked the chains to the engine hoist and picked her on up. Was truly simple.
