Curious, Why hasn't someone grabbed this car, if in fact it is a numbers matching car?
EBay, Item number: 300037352415
Is it the possibility that it isn’t a true SS? I noticed no rear sway bars, and I can’t tell from the photos if it has the correct power steering brackets for a 69?
Even if it turned out not to be an SS it still looks nice.
I’m tempted but I am too far away to be able to look at it in person.

It looks like a nice car. But IMO it sotra lacks the muscle car look. Automatic on the column, color combo. If it were gold with balck interior, and top, auto on the floor or 4 speed and a black stripe I would love it.

Like I said it does look nice, just not for me.

#'s matching. I'd say it's real. Theres a lot of factors. 1.not exactly a desirably color. 2. getting close to X-mas. 3. some people tend to shy away from "ID private" auctions. ect. I think it will sell, I just may take a while #300037352415 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fse arch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D300037352415%26f vi%3D1&item=300037352415)

Rear sway bar (F41 suspension) was an option in '69 even for the SS package so many legit SS cars in '69 did not have the boxed rear control arms and rear sway bars.

When you click on the history of the offers, it shows 2 pending. So it looks like there are some people interested. I am not one of them. It is not desirable to me.

Hello,
I talked to the seller on this one. Thought it might be cool with a bench and all. The column thingy gets me though. He said it is very nice, not trailer nice, but nice. The AC currently doesn't blow cold, probably just a re-charge as he said it worked this summer. I couldn't get him to tell me the mileage was correct, he would only state that it was on the title and it was exempt. I asked his personal opinion on the mileage and he side stepped it, soo...he must not really know. I think he's had 3 offers, but wouldn't divulge how much they were. I was thinkng 21k for it personally, but like the others, I'm not into gold too much.

Nice looking car and I actually like the color combination too.
I wouldn't get hung up on the milage, as the majority of Chevelles that still survive have gone around the clock at least one or more times. To me they are all milage exempt, unless milage can be verified with receipts/documentation. My guess is, this car will sell with out a problem.

That car was just on another auction on E-bay. I had the high bid with $500.00 with one day to go and no reserve posted. I emailed the seller who supposedly posted the ad and they replied that it wasn't their car and that someone took over her add. I emailed the seller at the bottom of the ad ( a different person) and he told me the reserve is $6500.00 and he would deliver the car free. I also emailed E-bay and they removed the auction. Apparantly a scam!!
