hello ..
I lost two new batt.s last winter because of them going dead and freez'n..
they make batt tenders for just this...
anyone have info on a good one ( I'll) need two..
but don't want one that will overcharge the batt.. and bake it to death..
thanks...

That is the best product that I have used, and that is a good price. Thanks for the link.

Here's what I use. It's called a battery minder. Charges automatically and prevents sulfation. Read about them here. I've used them on all of my cars with no issues.

The Battery Tender Plus is as good as money can buy in my opinion. I've got over 20 of em and keep em on EVERYTHING that isn't driven weekly. My '96 Dodge Viper has 38 hundred miles and still has THE ORIGINAL battery. I keep em on lawn mowers, boats, old cars, etc, and battery problems are a thing of the past.

every battery needs a tender...like a bar.

I own 3 battery tender pluses. One on my Chevelle and two on our boat. Best thing since sliced bread.

One I've been using for last couple years. About the size of a candy bar.

Do they make a battery charger that just plugs into your cigarette lighter? That way the battery could charge itself.
J/K. I'm glad y'all brought this topic up since I've been meaning to purchase a battery tender and it keeps slipping my mind. Thanks for the reminder.
