Hi i have a 1968 Chevelle 300 Deluxe that's original color is Ash Gold with black interior and was wondering if they ever put a pinstripe on them and what color they would be thanks.

I have have a 68 300DLX Ash Gold my parents bought new and they did not have pinstripe

I have a 68 Malibu in ash gold that has a black pinstripe

I'm 99.44% certain that only Malibu's, Concours', and SS's came with the side stripe from the factory in '68. Ash Gold would come with a black stripe. If you want to add one, the incorrect measurements are in the assembly manual on page 1,C4. :confused:
