I should of known better to go through them, but I have a credit there and was wanting to use it. So, I was planning on purchase some new body mounts for the Elky. We get finish with all of the transaction and gives me a total. Shipping from CA to AL was going to be 22 bucks!!!! Give me a break! Was that next day I asked, nope that was ground. Needless to say I said forget that. Sheesh, I have been scammed by there "oversize" shipping before. It cost me 21.65 to get something from there "oversize" and when it didn't work I sent it back hence the credit I mention aboved only cost me 6.55 from here back to there. They need to include their packing price with price in the catalog. Instead of at the time when placing an order.

I got a new gas tank with a big dent in it from them, tissue dispenser with a big scratch in the chrome and have sent back half of the stuff they have sent me. I got into it with the manager about the tank "we didn't see anything wrong with it so we put it back on the shelf". They don't want me to order anything from them any more. Thank God

Yep, this is one of my greatest pet peeves. It cost you one third of their charges to send it back. I think that we should always ask about shipping charges when buying. As you can well imagine, it did not really cost them $21 to send it to you, only they made $15 off you no matter what. I suspect that companies will gladly send the wrong part, shipped at high rates, knowing that when you return the goods, they still made $$ off you.

Pay with a credit card so you have someone on YOUR side with lots of attorneys.

I would almost guarantee that had you received defective merchandise, sent it back, and the business refused to make it right with you, that your credit card company would be happy jerk payment from them.

Just make sure you keep a paper trail to cover your own butt.

"OUCH!"

Judy and I can honestly say we have had nothing but "Great Service/Product" from OPG. We always make a list that builds up, then place the order(s). Never a bad part and/or service.

Having said that, we have had a 33&1/3rd "Not so great experience with Summit".

Switched to Jeg's over Summit! "Perfecto!"

Having said all of the above, do what Judy and I have done.

"Switch!"

Man when are people going to get it through their heads. NO BASHING. I know it is frustrating when you have problems with a supplier, but trust me even if you post your complaint without naming names enough people will email you asking who it was for you to get your point across.

I ordered my entire car from OPG and the damn thing didnt fit in my driveway.

Guy on the phone said fit wouldnt be a problem but it was. So, I modified the car and now im left with one big rust heap that still wont fit in my driveway. BULL***** I tell you!!!!

Seriously guys, rules be rules, Al be the admin, vendor bashing be against the rules, Al be against those that break em as it could cost some dough to reconcile anything you guys may cause by doing what your doing.

If you had some guy come over to your house where you let him hang out all the time and shoot the *****, and he kept going out on your front porch yelling about how all your neighbors suck, starting trash with people in your neighborhood, you would ask that they stop. If the neighbor sued you, you'd be pissed. Al is asking that you dont **** off the neighbors.

Maybe in the future just post - bad experience with well known supplier, email me if you want to know what happened or something to the like.
