When installing a wolfe bearing, would you use some threadlocker on it? Just looking at it tonite, and that popped into my head.

Not a bad idea to use it. :) I didn't, but only because I am planning to swap axles, and need to pull it apart again this winter.

Cool, just got the ear ground down till the nut seats flat. Time to mount the Eddy uppers and adjust the pinion angle, and go for a cruise.
