I recently bought an SS bumper pad for the rear bumper on my 70 chevelle and after looking at the fit there is about 1/2 to 3/4 inch gap between the edge on the center cut out for the license plate hole to the edge of the bumper where it transitions to the license plate section. This is very difficult to explain. Does anyone have a close up picture of a 70 SS bumper pad?

3/4" sounds a little high. But I dont think 1/2" is out of the ordinary.
