Does anybody have any pictures of a 70-72 chevelle painted fathom green with white SS stripes? I am getting ready to have the chevelle painted and I really like this color on the 68-69 chevelles, but I have never seen what it would look like on the 70-72 body style.

Fathom green? I only know of Fathom Blue. The Forrest Green, by the way, is metalic. My Chevelle is Forrest Green. Check it out.

look at the feature car july, 2000 on this site maybe its what your looking for or go to www.mershons.com (http://www.mershons.com) then to inventory, then other classics. there is a 1969 SS there thats fathom green.

That is a sweet looking car! I really like that color combination for some reason. I have seen it a lot on the 69 chevelles, but I still haven't seen it on any 70-72 body styles. I wonder if it was only a factory color up to 69 and then it wasn't available on the 70 and up cars.

I have a fathom green chevelle, its a 69 though.

Fathom... Forest... same difference. Pontiac called it Sequoia.

Deep Green is Deep Green, throw in some white or silver stripes and a black top and I'd take it.

Hey DUDE, I found this 72 on the southern motors website. Its called a sequia green, hope its close to what you're looking for: 72CHVL-GRN (http://chevelles.com/showroom/72CHVL-GRN.jpg)

Thanks for all the pictures guys! I think this is the color that I am going to go with. Right now the car is a really light green color now with green interior. The interior is in really good shape so I would like to keep it. Fathom green it is!
