I like it.. It's not an american muscle car but a nice car. I would never build a Prostreet muscle car on an european based car but came out good for him.

I think there's a few cars in the US that would qualify as faster that are legal street cars. "Legal" is somewhat of a misnomer, and depends on whether you mean legal, like smog-legal, legal in terms of noise abatement, or legal in terms of highway legal tires, and the list goes on.

In my book, if you can drive it on the road without getting a ticket or getting pulled over, it's street legal ;)

Nice car, you gotta hand it to the guy, he's done well given that he's in Europe, where getting access to Chevy parts is one step more difficult than it is here. Shipping, availability, access to knowledge, it's all harder there.

Also, 100,000 quid is almost $200,000US, so he's got a sizable investment there.

I live in a small city in Canada and there is even a car here that has ran 7.50 @ 180mph that is street legal and street driven. How many dozens are even faster in cities like Detroit, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles??

The whole "street legal" discussion is like comparing apples to oranges. You should see what they consider street legal around here, and I'm not talking about race cars... :rolleyes:

On a more positive note: If you live in Botswana, a funny car would probably be street legal. :D
