OK, this was gone over pretty good in "Should I strip?" but this is a little different. I have already stripped my quarters because someone fixed some holes with fiberglass and I had to weld in some new panels. It has the factory paint on the rest of the car and I was thinking about just scuffing it up and priming if I can get the stripped portion to feather into the old paint. I'm using Transtar Kwik-Prime which is supposed to be a sort of etching and fill primer. Do you guys think I'll be OK shooting over bare metal and paint with this stuff?
