Here's my problem, I have a 68 Chevelle SS with a complete intierior. However the back seat frame is wasted. I need a whole new back seat. Can anyone help, or know anyone that can help? Years ago I would've ripped it out and tubbed it, but I guess I'm maturing. I want a back seat that's useful. Any help to point me in a direction would be appreciated.

I got one from a (semi) local guy, if you have a local chevelle club there should be access to some through that. They are a pretty common item. I think I paid $25 for my rear seat.

I saw somewhere one here that someone put in a rear seat from a mercedes...looked pretty good

I'd rather have a Chevelle rear seat. I'll keep the mercedes idea for a last resort. As far as the local scene, everyone comes to me for parts. I'm the only serious muscle car guy in town. Unless I stumble over something by accident, not much comes through west central Louisiana.
