Hi guys, I'm gonna soon try and get my drip rail mouldings of my '67 and wanted to know if anyone had any tips for removing them without destroying them, if that's possible.

Thanks,
Steve

A bottle opener works well to do this. Wrap the top side of it with a few layers of electrical tape to avoid damaging the surface of the trim, and work VERY SLOWLY from front to back. Hope this helps.

Ditto on the church key/bottle opener. I've never found anything that works better.

I removed mine on a 65 last week. I didn't know about the bottle owner technique. Sounds good tho. Instead, I pryed the rail by hand from the inside of the car outward, starting at the front of car, and tapped on the part I pryed with a rubber mallet. It worked well to move the rail almost off at that point, so I just moved farther down the rail prying by hand and tapping with the mallet. Both rails came off fine, without any damage.
