im changing my 70 over from black int to white(using 71-72 since 70's didnt have white) the cars not stock, but want the right color combo close-i painted the body shell red, but taped off the inside part at the bottom of the rear glass-was that painted black? and was the package shelf black? was the headliner black or white? i know the dash was black, and i think the pillar posts were, what about the rear plastic arm rests? and the windlace on the inside by the headliner, and the rug-some pics of a white int. would be great
i paintedmy roll bar red, to match the body, but now it would add a third color to the int. with white/black-im painting on white stripes, and wanted the white for an offset to make it bright-thanks

I had a 70 with pearl interior. The headliner, sail panels, windshield trim, sunvisors, dash pad, lower dash, carpet, package tray, kick panels, and seat belts were black. The seats, seat backs, seat bottoms, door panels, rear side panels (upper door panel, lower plastic panel, and metal vertical side panel) were all white. I have a '71 that had green interior that I am changing to white; I am following the pattern above from my '70 that I had.

Not sure if this helps, I have a 69 olds cutlass with original white interior. I suspect the chevelle, being a sister A body, should be similar.

My seats are white, carpet black, dash black, botton one third of door panels black carpet, rest white, arm rests white front and rear, kick panels black, package tray black. windlace trim on front of rear door panels is white, all plastic trim around headlinger is white, metal trim on back bottom of rear window is black, pillar posts plastic covers at each side of windshield is white.
I love the color combination. This was original olds cutlass in 69.

There were differences in the white (Parchement or Pearl) interiors between 69 and 70. Biggest difference for coupes is the headliner and surrounding trim; in 69 it was white, in 70 it was black.
