This is a follow up to another post on this board about hoods sticking up too high. I just put a cowl induction seal on my '70 and now the hood will not close. The seal is definitely hitting it hard enough that it will really bulge the back of the hood if you try to close it. The hood sat fine and was aligned perfectly before I added the seal. The one I just installed was from NPD and the rubber seems very stiff. I have heard that there are other seals that are softer and or lower so they fit better. Has anybody found such a seal and if so where did you find it? I did a search before posting this topic and while it appears to be a fairly common problem when installing a new seal I didn't really see any concrete suggestions re: any fix. Any help is appreciated however I don't think it is a hood alignment issue. Thanks
