Right now I am at the point where i dont know what I was thinking. There is no roof on the car and I still need to separate the good skin from the replacement roof. Luckily the inner structure isnt in horrible shape. Rusty but there. Any tips on removing the new roof without damaging it?

Just take your time and drill out all the spot welds. Then take a hammer and chisel and start seperating the skin. You can substitute a thin putty knife, gasket scraper, or screw driver for the chisel. You'll damage the skin a little getting it off but you can dolly it back into shape. Good luck

On the edges with the driprail I was thinking of just bending or cutting the driprail out of the way to make it easier to separate the skin without damaging it to bad.
