Who has bought a reproduction console top plate for an automatic? How is the quality? My original one is pitted and to get it rechromed would probably cost a fortune. Any opinions welcomed.

You may have to alter the dimensions to get it to fit properly but other than that the one I got works & looks fine.

I had to "squish" mine in on one corner but once installed fits snuggly and looks nice.
