how do i remove my vent windows from the doors of a 66 chevelle.

It's a pain to do. I pull the regular window out. Remove all bolts holding the vent window frame and start pulling the vent frame up from the door. About half way up you need to rotate the vent frame 90 degrees to let one of it's brackets clear the door opening. Put it on the bench and start removing the fasteners and disassemble to replace the rubber.

On a side note..And i don't know if it's the same on 66's but you have drill out 2 rivets that hold bottom of the vent window to the frame. Then you can remove the glass and all the old rubber. then either re-rivet or sheet metal screw the bracket back on...If it's different on a 66 then disregard!
